Hello, Today's edition of the Nottinghamian brings news of the demolition of Nottingham City Airport. Plans include creating more than 1,000 homes on the site.
The plans would involve the demolition of the cafe and air traffic control building as well as the removal of the airport runway. If a planning application is put forward to Rushcliffe Borough Council, the development could see a new local centre, a primary school and supporting infrastructure including highways improvements, open space and sports pitches.

A square tower can be seen above what was once the Old Castle Inn and there is a rounded turret that caps the lower end of the row. Sally was on holiday and Dexter was being looked after by a family member. Last month, Daniel was reunited with Dexter, who has made a full recovery. Daniel said: "It was so lovely to see Dexter - even though I'm not sure he was as delighted as me - as he seemed quite aloof! Despite his injuries 14-month old Dexter made a great recovery and his delighted owner called me to let me know.
