Amazon’s 2024 Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite are on sale for Black Friday. It’s the first deal we’ve seen on the ebook readers and you can save as much as $25 on each of them.
It’s about that time of the year to turn on the heat, warm up some cocoa, and curl up in your reading nook. If you’re running out of space for physical books to enjoy, Amazon’s newest Kindle ebook readers can hold thousands of digital ones, and some are on sale for the first time in the retailer’s Black Friday sale. That includes the 2024 Kindle that’s dropped to $84.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target, as well as the updated Kindle Paperwhite, which is now just $129.
The bigger size may have made room for a better battery, too, as Amazon advertises it lasts as long as three months per charge, which is a significant jump from the 10 weeks promised on earlier devices. The 2024 Paperwhite is even a bit faster, with Amazon suggesting a 25 percent increase, which certainly felt noticeable in our hands-on time with the device. You should notice less delay and flashing when quickly tapping through pages.
