Ahsoka episode 3 begins with the titular character training her newly-reinstated Padawan Sabine in the different forms of lightsaber combat while attempting to further the latter's connection to the Force.
The events of Andor provide this reveal in Ahsoka with much more context. Mon Mothma has been shown throughout her other Star Wars appearances including Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One alongside Andor to despise the rule of Emperor Palpatine. This, combined with her direct efforts to depose the Empire during the Dark Times, means that her reinstatement of the Senate based on democratic election is the logical next step for the New Republic with Mothma as Chancellor.
Who Are The Members Of The New Republic's Senate Committee? With that being said, it is worth exploring who the other senators of the New Republic Defense Fleet Committee are. Of the four other members besides Mon Mothma, only one has appeared in Star Wars' vast amount of stories before. The three others are left mostly mysterious. One of the New Republic's Defense Fleet Committee members is uncredited in Ahsoka, an unnamed Gran Senator from the planet Kinyen.
