Ford recently updated the Cup Mustang to the new Dark Horse spec and made one huge change to the front end that deviates from its previous design.
The debut of the
Next Gen car, each manufacturer completed wind tunnel testing through the dictates specific measurements or minimums for certain parts of the car like the greenhouse and sides , but the front end of the car is largely open for manufacturers to be able to design to resemble their brand identity. They just have to stay within that window of aerodynamic efficiency.
