Audi has a new high performance trim for its RS Q8 SUV, offering a whopping 40 additional horsepower over the outgoing model.
and the all-new, even more powerful Audi RS Q8 Performance up at the top of the trim order. Audi also took the time to set a new Nürburgring track lap record proving the new RS Q8 Performance's ability, but what else can you expect for the updated luxury SUV ?
Audi has a new habit: naming its highest-performance trim options with a straightforward so-called "performance" label. We can't abide the lowercase treatment, so for us it's the Audi RS Q8 Performance. This new highest trim is good for 631 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque from a twin-turbo V-8 , zooming from standstill to 60 mph in an estimated 3.6 seconds.
Audi has yet to announce U.S. details and pricing for the 2025 Audi RS Q8 and its new Performance top trim, but in Europe, the standard RS Q8 starts at more than $151,000, and the Performance starts at more than $166,000 before other fees and options are included.
