went through to survive from a Friday morning blaze.CBS 21 spoke with the victim, Kaitlyn Iser, who said the East King Street fire rapidly became a matter of life or death:The flames quickly trapped Iser and her 9-month-old puppy Scrappy and with Iser out of options, she was left with no other choice then to take a leap of faith.That jump would end up injuring Iser and put her in the ICU, where she is still recovering from her injuries.
Iser told CBS 21 she had been living in the home for just around a year and lost everything in the fire. More on Iser's story of survival will be shared on CBS 21 tonight during the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.
