The latest episode of MasterChef saw the terrifying moment a blender exploded in one of the contestant's faces, forcing them to leave the challenge on medical grounds.
Cristina was left needing to see a doctor as judge Gregg Wallace explained to the camera what had happened. Viewers were then shown a quick snap of Cristina at the hospital with her chin wrapped in a bandage after being attended to by medical professionals. The contestant appeared to be in good spirits as she pulled a smile for the camera.
