A New Jersey Senate candidate backed by Donald Trump was handily defeated in the state's primary Tuesday, losing to a more moderate Republican endorsed by one of the former president's harshest critics.Curtis Bashaw, a former bellhop turned wealthy hotel entrepreneur from Cape May, received the endorsement of former New Jersey Governor and Trump antagonist Chris Christie.He received 45.
'It's a nice story of a young man who came from an immigrant family, it's kind of the American Dream,' Nulman said. 'That's what you want to see, people who work hard and get good results as a result of their hard work and their good intention.'Nulman said he was not surprised to hear about Bashaw's victory in the Republican primary.
