The Mandalorians took over Star Wars Celebration 2023 in amazing Star Wars cosplays. The bottom one sees multiple Mandalorians in custom armor, including Boba Fett and Bo-Katan. Even the Mandalorian jat-packets were perfectly recreated.
Have Mandalorians Become As Big As Jedi Among Fans? Mandalorians have always been popular characters within the Star Wars community, even before they actually existed. Boba Fett, who was eventually retconned to be the first Mandalorian to ever appear in a Star Wars movie, became a pop cultural phenomenon ahead of The Empire Strikes Back. Clone Wars’ Mandalorians were quite different from the Expanded Universe ones, setting up canon debates for years to come. Still, Clone Wars introduced several Mandalorian characters that are popular to this day, including Bo-Katan.
