The latest season took six months to write and a year to film, leaving the cast and crew physically and mentally drained. One of the main challenges was coordinating a massive cast with numerous extras, even more than in the previous season. Writing the season required the creation of new, larger-scale games, such as the Six-Legged Race, which took over two weeks to shoot.
The finale also required extensive time and effort, with the set of colorful staircases taking six months to build and the action scenes requiring seven days of training from the stunt team. Filming the finale itself took seven to ten days. The hair and makeup team had to meticulously track the blood and sweat of every character involved in the games. Coordinating over 400 people in complex situations posed a significant logistical challenge.
