It's been hard to escape the hype of Lionel Messi finally winning the World Cup. Photos of him with the giant solid gold trophy seem to be everywhere.
Antonela and their kids were there to support and celebrate with the seven time Ballon D'or winner who finally put a World Cup among the long list of his accomplishments. But what is the story behind Antonela and Messi's relationship that has spanned decades? Fast forward to 2008 when they made their relationship public, to no surprise to family and friends who say the spark between the two had always been there. They tied the knot in July 2017 in a wedding that was described as Argentina's "wedding of the century".
Lionel and Antonella have three sons. Their first son, Thiago, was born in 2012, their second son Mateo who was born in 2015 and their third Ciro who was born in 2018.
