The hit rom-com TheLostCity will be available for purchase digitally starting tomorrow, with a physical release coming on July 26.
Rom-com connoisseurs and fans of big action blockbusters will get to see The Lost City from the comfort of their homes very soon. Paramount's adventure flick was a surprise success at the box office, debuting as the third highest-grossing movie in 2022. Despite its similarities to Romancing the Stone and other classic adventure films, it proved it wasn't just a carbon copy by delivering fresh hijinks and reversing traditional genre roles.
Fans who either want to own the movie or make up for missing it in theaters will get their chance as early as this week. Paramount Home Entertainment reveals that audiences can purchase The Lost City for digital streaming beginning tomorrow, May 10, 2022, and then on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 26, 2022. The physical release will reportedly feature over 50 minutes of bonus content, including a featurette about designing Sandra Bullock's sparkly purple jumpsuit.
