Research shows that loneliness and isolation can contribute to the risk of developing dementia, as well as worsening existing symptoms of cognitive decline and other health issues. The goal of their comprehensive programs is to support both seniors and their families, improving their quality of life and empowering them to live it to the fullest.

The US Department of Health and Human Services recently declared loneliness “an epidemic,” citing Covid-19 lockdown measures as one factor contributing to the already-high rates of persistent loneliness in adults.Ask for help before you really need it. The majority of seniors choose to stay in their homes as they age, and they try to remain independent for as long as possible.
