Going into The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, viewers will need to remember many facts from the past two seasons. Netflix's hit legal drama follows a lawyer named Mickey, who's known for winning unwinnable cases and working out of the back of his Lincoln cars. The Lincoln Lawyer is the best legal drama since Suits, garnering a dedicated fanbase.
9 Legal Seigel Is Mickey’s Father Figure And Mentor Throughout The Lincoln Lawyer seasons 1 and 2, Mickey has turned to a man named David “Legal” Siegal for advice and guidance. Siegal – a former colleague of J. Michael Haller, Sr. – plays a crucial parental role for the Lincoln Lawyer main character, replacing Mickey’s father’s role from the books. His sharp legal mind has often been the key to getting Mickey out of tight situations.
Mickey sets up a deal where Glory Days will receive immunity if she helps put her client, Hector Moya, in jail. Moya has secret connections to the Tijuana Cartel, making him especially dangerous. Because of Glory Days’ murder, Hector Moya will unquestionably come back up in The Lincoln Lawyer season 3. It’s unclear what involvement, if any, he had in the death. However, it seems like a possibility they will explore, even if it’s just to create a red herring.
The Izzy dance studio storyline will probably carry over into The Lincoln Lawyer season 3. Running a business could test Izzy in big ways, as the first year of proprietorship is typically the hardest. Her decision to focus on her business also means that Mickey needs to find a new driver in the new episodes, opening the door for a new character who could shift the group dynamic in a fresh way.
4 Mickey Has A New Rival In The DA’s Office Mickey faces a new rival named Andy in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, making his professional life much more difficult. Andy is one of his most fierce and competent adversaries, but she also has a kind and thoughtful side to her as well. The two never bonded because they were on opposite sides of the Lisa Trammel case, but the case is over as of the season 2 finale.
