A viewer spots a major mistake in The Last of Us episode 6. The episode picks up with Joel and Ellie traveling to Jackson, Wyoming to find Tommy . While The Last of Us has seemed to garner more praise and a reach larger audience with each episode, HBO's acclaimed video game adaptation hasn't been immune to the occasional error.
Shortly after it aired on HBO, an eagle-eyed viewer spotted a major mistake in The Last of Us episode 6 and shared it on social media. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Shared by @stjguitarist on Twitter, the viewer noticed that several crew members are visible on the outskirts of one overhead shot from early on in episode 6. Game of Thrones' own prequel show House of the Dragon continued the HBO tradition with a VFX mistake of its own. After King Viserys loses two fingers to a mysterious flesh-eating disease, Paddy Considine's fourth and fifth fingers had to be digitally removed for every shot in which they are visible. For one brief shot in episode 3, his digits weren't digitally removed and the green coverings over his fingers were mistakenly visible.
While it is certainly a major oversight on part of the post-production team, these visual errors are rather insignificant in terms of the overall quality of the show and often go unnoticed by many viewers. In each of the previous instances, HBO corrected the errors on streaming platforms for subsequent viewing, which they will likely do again for The Last of Us episode 6.
