After months of watching prototypes testing across Europe, we now know that Lamborghini's latest fighting bull will arrive just in time for Monterey Car Week on August 16.

After months of watching prototypes test across Europe, we finally have official confirmation of the Lamborghini Huracán successor’s debut date. Buried in the brand’s H1 2024 sales announcement, Lamborghini confirmed the new hybrid supercar will arrive on August 16 during the Monterey Car Week festivities. The unnamed replacement for the Huracán represents a major development for Lamborghini, as it is the first “junior” supercar engineered without heavy influence from Audi since 1998.

You’ll want to rev as much as you can, with peak power sitting between 9000 and 9750 rpm. The V-10 might be gone, but this new V-8 has the potential to be an even more visceral companion. The Huracán successor will also feature a plug-in hybrid system similar to the V-12-powered Revuelto. Behind the V-8 will sit the same 8-speed dual-clutch as found in the big car, which comes bolstered by an integrated electric motor. The motor can provide up to 148 hp and 221 lb-ft.
