Kia’s battery-electric three-row crossover looks to the past for solutions for the future.
Kia has finally revealed the 2024 EV9’s exterior and interior styling, which features a pair of 12.3-inch screens and creative seating.
The Kia EV9 will ride on the company’s Electric Global Modular Platform, which also underpins the Kia EV6.Rotating seats can help passengers get in and out of vehicles easier and. These range from seats that simply swing away to help folks get in and out of cars, to seats that fully rotate backward to help chat with your friends or hold a small conference on the highway.
, though it does eschew some of the concept car’s more adventurous features. Even though the reverse-opening rear doors didn’t make it to the production line, the EV9’s interior is almost as interesting.The interior might be an even bigger departure from the concept than exterior styling, but the folks at Kia turned a pedestrian people mover into a conversation piece. In front of the driver, you’ll see standard fare: a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster flanked by a 12.3-inch touch screen.
The automaker hasn’t released performance details for the EV9 yet, but that should be coming soon. The EV9 will ride on parent company Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform, which currently underpins the
