So, I'm just going to assume that Disney wouldn't cast someone who isn't Native Hawaiian for the role of Nani.Pacific Islanders have notoriously little representation in Hollywood.
I myself am a light-skinned Polynesian! But colorism is absolutely a problem in the industry and needs to be called out.iconic for many folks in the PI community.
