Lee Houser and his metal detector have been searching the corn pit at Lakeland Orchard and Cidery for a ring, but he's found much more in his search.

"I found four rings but not the one I was looking for, a pendant and then some little flower thing, and I was shocked," said Houser.Employees at Lakeland Orchard say despite warning people, this happens a lot."We have, on average, probably about five engagement rings that are lost in it a year. Some are found, some are not," said Roba.
"When you find something, and you try to reach down and get it, the corn just falls in on you, so a pinpointer helps out quite a bit," Houser said.
