“Everybody is innocent until proven guilty. Lisa C. McClain introduced a resolution to censure and remove Rep. Jamaal Bowman from his committees after he interrupted House proceedings by pulling a fire alarm in a House office building in an attempt to delay consideration of a last-minute, GOP-led proposal to fund the government in September. He pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge Thursday.
