Sega Dreamcast classic 'The House of the Dead 2' is set to receive a remake in 2023. The remake will feature modern graphics, remastered music, and a co-op mode.
A Sega Dreamcast classic from 1999, The House of the Dead 2, is getting a new remake this year. While the game first appeared in arcades in 1998, it gained popularity as a Sega Dreamcast exclusive until 2001 when it was released on PC. It later became a console exclusive for the Wii in 2008. The remake, developed by MegaPixel Studio and Forever Entertainment, will feature remastered music, modern graphics, co-op mode, multiple endings, branching levels, and faithful gameplay.
It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X sometime this spring. The original game, a light-gun horror shooter, follows two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, as they investigate a city overrun by hostile creatures
