He will oversee THR’s business operations with P&L responsibility for the brand. He will be responsible for all business and revenue operations, including live media, social media, marketing, video operations, licensing, international and sales.

He began his career in entertainment negotiating some of the earliest product placement deals with Mark Burnett and managing brand integration at Sony Pictures for films such asBefore coming to iHeartMedia, Shields was vp integrated sales and marketing at FX Networks, where he crafted innovative integrations with shows likeas well as producing branded content including an award-winning miniseries for Audi.
He also serves as the co-vp of ThinkLA, a nonprofit advertising collective with a mission to connect, educate and inspire the West Coast marketing community.
