Russia has been banned from competing in major international sporting competitions including the Olympics and World Cup for four years, but the head of the US Anti-Doping Agency believes the punishment is far from what they deserve.
Agency CEO Travis Tygart spoke to CNN World Sport anchor Don Riddell on Monday, calling the four-year ban another"weak punishment" that will only encourage the country to continue their behavior."It's the same punishment that was put in place back in 2016 and effectively the same punishment that was put in place in 2018 during the Winter Games," Tygart told CNN.
