A production company boss said they were 'looking very, very, very hard' at making sure the next series is 'as good as it can be'
Producers behind The Great British Bake Off have promised the show will undergo a huge revamp following a flurry of viewer complaints.
The latest series, which saw Syabira Yusoff crowned the winner during an 'unfair' final, featured contestants undergoing a ‘stereotypical’ Mexican-themed week and making bakes including Halloween lantern piñatas and 3D biscuit masks. The comments came as the boss of Love Productions, which makes the long-running show, insisted he had listened to fans regarding their feedback on the 13th series. Richard McKerrow said the team would strive to put things right for series 14, which will begin filming in April.
Fans complained many of the tasks were 'silly', with “ridiculous” time constraints blamed for an underwhelming final.
