The Gray Man
With the exception of one sequence, every set piece is murky and difficult to follow as a result. Whether it's the low lighting of the location or smoke billowing from various sources , you'll struggle to see most of what is happening as it's combined with up-close, kinetic cinematography and rapid editing.
When you do get to see an entire sequence in full light and without any visual murkiness, it's not a surprise that it's the standout of the movie. Sure, the extended chase sequence that takes place in Prague is totally ridiculous, but it's damned entertaining as Lloyd Hansen sends wave after wave of enemies after Gentry.is all set pieces tied together with a paper-thin plot that mixes spy tropes we've seen before.
So begins a chase across various locations with some pauses for exposition dumps about just why everything is happening, although there's not much to explain.rattles through set piece after set piece, which is an occasionally thrilling but ultimately exhausting experience.
