New South Wales One Nation Leader Mark Latham says the government “can’t pretend” Australia is “not going to be a nuclear-reliant nation”.
“Clearly for our defence with this huge expenditure, $370 billion on nuclear submarines, we should have nuclear power to keep our lights on,” Mr Latham said.
“We know they’re safe because the Albanese government is going to sit the exact same technology inside eight nuclear submarines.”
