Jordan Love made his first career start for the Green Bay Packers Sunday.

Green Bay’s second-year quarterback struggled early with accuracy and failed to get his team into the endzone. He got into a rhythm in the second half, completing nine straight passes at one point and later throwing a 20-yard touchdown pass to Allen Lazard.Love’s final numbers weren’t awful as he completed 19-of-34 for 190 yards. He did throw an interception and finished with a subpar passer rating of 69.5.

LaFleur and Green Bay’s offensive line didn't seem ready for the constant wave of pressure Kansas City brought. Although Love was only sacked once, much of that was because of his ability to escape pressure.“I was 100% prepared for it,” LaFleur said of the pressure. “We knew it was going to come, and the plan wasn’t good enough.”In that time, the Packers ranked dead last in 2005, 2006, 2014 and 2018.

Had Crosby made both attempts, the game could have easily wound up going to overtime. Instead, Crosby and the kicking game let Green Bay down once again.Crosby is just 13-of-19 overall this season and is on pace for the second-worst season of his career.
