A24 releases the first trailer for The Front Room, a new religious horror movie arriving in September that stars Brandy and Kathryn Hunter.
The film “tells the story of a young, newly pregnant couple who is forced to take in an ailing estranged stepmother,” per the official logline., both of whom also wrote the screenplay. Max and Sam Eggers previously worked on a handful of movies made by their older brother, Robert Eggers, as Sam was a production assistant on 2015’s The Witch and Max co-wrote the screenplay for 2019’s The Lighthouse.
