Columbus is taking its love for Star Wars to new heights this spring with a citywide celebration centered around the upcoming " Unofficial Galaxies " exhibit at the Center of Science and Industry . Opening May 10th, the exhibit is just the beginning of a fully immersive experience crafted for fans of the iconic sci-fi universe.
In partnership with local businesses, Experience Columbus has curated a series of themed adventures across the city, turning Columbus into a must-visit destination for Star Wars fans. Visitors can expect everything from overnight stays with galactic flair to high-flying forest adventures and interstellar-inspired cuisine.The Junto hotel is offering a special overnight package that immerses guests in the universe from the moment they check in. Meanwhile, thrill-seekers can head to ZipZone Outdoor Adventures for “Night Flights,” a Star Wars-inspired nighttime zipline experience under the stars. Local bars, breweries, and restaurants are also joining the celebration with Star Wars-themed food and drinks. From creatively named cocktails to galaxy-themed desserts, the force is strong across Columbus’s culinary scene.The event comes at a prime moment for the Star Wars universe. Season 2 of Andor premiered today to critical acclaim, with some calling it “the best Star Wars storytelling yet.” The momentum continues into the weekend with the 20th-anniversary re-release of Revenge of the Sith, and of course, the global celebration of Star Wars Day on May 4th will add even more buzz before the exhibit officially opens.The “Unofficial Galaxies” exhibit at COSI will run through September, and Experience Columbus will continue to update its dedicated landing page with new events, promotions, and participating locations throughout the summer.
