Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park Recommended by expert website GoStargazing.co.uk, Clyde Muirshiel is Scotland's largest regional park. It covers an impressive 108 square miles and you can reach the park's main hub beside Castle Semple loch in 30 minutes from Glasgow; if you don't want to go that far it gets pretty remote and dark once you pass Howwood, 23 minutes away.
