The evolution of Moroccan football is no surprise for Bafana coach
The Bafana coach said he was not surprised as the Atlas Lions stormed to the semifinals of the World Cup in Qatar last year.
Bafana, Morocco and Liberia made the Afcon qualifying group that was left with three teams following Fifa’s suspension of Zimbabwe. Regragui called up big names like Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounouu, Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat. Last year, Morocco became the first African country to hold both the men’s and women’s CAF Champions League crowns at the same time.
