Ram tells us that the 18-foot measurement is from the tip of the frunk, through the cabin and the folded-down midgate, and to the end of the bed with the tailgate up. There are images of the truck showing the tailgate hinged down with a bed extender, which would theoretically lengthen the cargo capacity to more than 18 feet.
