He sends her to the Kudo household after receiving a marriage proposal, seemingly abandoning her fate.The first season introduces us to Miyo's journey as she navigates her new life with the Kudo Family. Miyo gradually uncovers Fuyu's past burdens and her strict upbringing of Kiyoka, recognizing the deep love she harbors for her son despite her harsh demeanor. Miyo's goal becomes not only to gain Fuyu's acceptance but also to mend the fractured relationship between mother and son. Meanwhile, Miyo also sets out to save a villager named Kota who was attacked by grotesquires, a mission that triggers further tension with Fuyu.
