Woodgreen provides all the equipment and supplies you’ll need

The Dog House on Channel 4 shelter needs Northamptonshire volunteers to act as fosterers. There is increasing pressure on Woodgreen Pets Charity’s services and more pets coming through their doors due to the cost of living crisis.

After being found as a stray in very poor condition, she was taken in by Woodgreen in the hope that someone would come forward to reclaim her. However, as time passed, no one did, and Lily found it increasingly challenging to adjust to life in kennels. As a fosterer with Woodgreen, you will have the rewarding experience of caring for a pet in the comfort of your own home, without the long-term commitment and financial responsibilities of ownership.

Lara Zaks has been fostering for Woodgreen since 2021 and has welcomed seven dogs into her home so far. She said: “It brings me great pleasure to be a part of a dog's journey to their forever home, and my experience fostering for Woodgreen has been incredibly rewarding.
