Netflix has now unveiled the official teaser trailer for The Diplomat season 2. Without any character speaking a word, the video introduces the stakes of the season as well as the entrance of a new major player, Allison Janney's Vice President Grace Penn. Although the first shot shows Kate Wyler alone, she is then seen arm in arm with her husband Hal, having survived the terror attack. The mood between them is tense, however, as they seem to be together for optics more than any other reason.
*Availability in US The Diplomat is a Netflix drama/thriller series that tells the story of a career diplomat named Laura Simmonds as she wrestles with the complexities of her new job as ambassador to the U.K. As Laura attempts to acclimate to her high-profile, high-stress job, her marriage, and personal life begin to suffer in the midst of an international crisis.
