A total of 267 prisoners who have mostly served their sentences were released from various penal facilities of the BuCor nationwide. | T2TupasINQ
Twenty-two were from Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City.Ten were from Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm in Occidental Mindoro.Almost half of the total number of prisoners were on parole.The jail term of seventy-two of them were under expiration for maximum sentence with Good Conduct Time Allowance.
The newly-released prisoners were given transportation assistance, a hygiene pack, a bag of groceries and financial aid from the Department of Social Welfare and Development
