There is 'no doubt' a Gold Coast woman was murdered by her now dead bikie boyfriend in 2012, an inquest has heard.
Detective senior sergeant Williamson said police reopened their investigation following Mr Sharman's death, in the hope it would spark new information, but were unsuccessful."Following his death we thought we might have more people talk to us, but they didn't due to fear of retribution or they just didn't know.
"I believe Les [Sharman] turned his phone off to get rid of Tina's body that night, he knew we could track his phone," Detective Inspector Jason Hindmarsh said."We knew straight away he was an extreme target," he said."He had been living out there for 15 years, we had no forensic evidence that gave us great value, we had no eyewitnesses.
"I believe Sharman was responsible but there was insufficient evidence to take it before a court, and you only get one shot at it before the court," he said. Detective Inspector Hindmarsh told the inquest throughout their investigation Mr Sharman's bikie associates helped him move house frequently, and he constantly changed jobs, phones, and cars.Tina Greer's car was found on a dirt road near Governor's Chair Lookout in the Scenic Rim on January 21, 2012.
"His car was always muddy. You had to go through a mud flat to get to his place but the day she [Ms Greer] was missing his car was spotless, like it had been detailed.
