Let’s take every opportunity to emphasize the better part of our natures.Surely, if someone society considers the least of us can so obviously show the human traits of compassion and selfless action we ascribe to the best of us, we can all strive to be better citizens of our communities and the world. Without seeking any recognition, any social, political or financial advantage, this “Nameless Man” has set an example for us all. The expected favorable outcome should give hope not only to those five puppies but to all our hearts.It isn’t surprising, but a sad commentary on youth and social media. The majority of us have taken government/civics while in junior high. I absolutely understand the pull that teens have to idolize an entertainer. Spoiler alert — entertainers of all stripes are just that — entertainers. They have opinions just like you and me.However, basing a serious decision such as whom to vote into political office deserves research and self-reflection with regard to how we wish our world to work. It begins with parental discussion about how to make serious decisions.Taylor Swift is a very talented woman. She has personal opinions about how her world should ideally work.
