Vitalik Buterin advocated for the Ethereum network to have an automated response to hypothetical 51% attacks to reduce the burden on the social layer.
Buterin argued that one of the biggest concerns is that this could result in censorship on the network. The Ethereum co-founder also addressed the importance of quantum resistance and pushed for further protocol simplification to make things easier for developers and users.The German government transferred over 10,853 bitcoins worth $637.7 million to various entities on Wednesday, continuing its strategy to offload 50,000 bitcoins it seized from film piracy site Movie2K in January.
Bitcoin's price remains down around 10% since the German authorities began moving funds to exchanges on June 18.Starknet plans to introduce native STRK token staking by the end of 2024, pending community approval. The proposed staking protocol also includes a 21-day time-lock period before funds can be withdrawn.Jack Dorsey's Block has agreed to supply bitcoin miner Core Scientific with its new 3-nanometer ASIC chips, representing approximately 15 EH/s of hashrate.
