The Conners Season 6 Put Neville Between Dan and Jackie A fight over money pitted Dan against Jackie’s husband Close Even though the pair are central to the show’s success, Dan and Jackie’s friendship is once again imperiled by her relationship with Neville in season 6, episode 5, “When Sisters Collide and The Return of the Grifters.” Even though Neville may seem like a relatively harmless character, one harsh reality of rewatching Roseanne is that Dan has always been quick to anger.
This is not the first time that The Conners has almost ruined Jackie and Dan’s bond. Not only did Neville fight with Dan in season 5, but the same season saw Jackie and Dan argue for days over missing home videos. Jackie and Dan’s season 5 home video fight almost ended their friendship but, notably, Jackie decided to swallow her pride and pretend that she lost the videos after she found them in Dan’s home.
