The Comic Con Cape Town Sew-a-Thon is a timed challenge that puts sewing skills to the test.
The Sew-a-Thon is an 8-hour event hosted in the Freesia room at Comic Con Cape Town, just outside the gaming hall on level two, and is proudly presented by Brother International South Africa with material provided by Kirsch Stein & Co.
Sew-A-Thon contestants receive a briefing two weeks before the event, which will take place on Thursday, 27 April 2023 at the CTICC in Cape Town. They will be able to cut out the patterns and finish their mood board before the event once they receive their challenge. They will be challenged to bring the garment to life and model it on the main stage at Comic Con Cape Town.
