Fans seemed confused when the duo first tweeted the number earlier today , but they've since posted a video which explains the text idea via a fake conversation withTexting the number leads to a YouTube link teasing the collaborators' forthcoming single "Takeaway." We've got a copy of the unlisted video clip below, which features the musicians looking serious as they explore the breathtaking architecture of Heatherwick's Vessel at Hudson Yards in New York City.
"Takeaway" was previously teased earlier this year by The Chainsmokers at Ultra Music Festival and Illenium during EDC Las Vegas. Fans have anxiously awaited the release of "Takeaway," and this clip sounds very much in line with The Chainsmokers' usual sound.
