Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Ahead of its long-awaited season 4 premiere on June 13, The Boys is officially confirmed for season 5. The hit Prime Video show, created by Eric Kripke and based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was renewed for season 4 in June 2022.
Homelander's son Ryan , who is upgraded as a main cast member after being a recurring character, also factors heavily in the upcoming season. Ryan could be aligned with his father, as he smiles when he sees that his father has killed a protestor in the season 3 finale, which sets up a further divide between Homelander and Butcher . Butcher does have his own problems to contend with, however, as he has an illness that doesn't give him much longer to live.
