Furthermore, he clarified the future of spin-offs like Gen V that are set in The Boys’ universe.Per Kripke, the ending of The Boys with Season 5 doesn’t mean that other shows in the franchise will also come to an end.
“I think they can and should continue. The Boys story is about Butcher and Homelander and these two planets crashing into each other and this particular story doesn’t work without both of them. And you can only keep that going for so long.” He concluded by saying that other stories could be told in the shared universe after the Butcher-Homelander narrative comes to an end.
