The Bowery Presents, a subsidiary of AEG Presents, commemorates two decades of supporting indie music by hosting residencies for iconic acts and expanding its venue operations.

The Bowery Presents , a concert promotion and venue operation company, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, they produced four residencies for indie acts they've worked with throughout their careers, including a reunion of TV on the Radio, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary — the release of its first album.

Although a subsidiary of AEG Presents since 2016, The Bowery Presents remains closely associated with top-shelf indie artists who started in clubs and progressed to arenas. \The company has evolved over the past two decades, expanding its reach and capabilities with the support of AEG's resources and venues. The Bowery Presents now produces shows at more venues, including Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, where they are the managing partner. \The company owns, co-owns, and/or operates 18 venues across various cities and has booking agreements with another 10. While not all venues report to Billboard Boxscore, those in New York alone grossed $17.6 million in the first 10 months of 2024. Forest Hills Stadium grossed $20.3 million during its season. \Residencies may not be the future of booking clubs, but the industry recognizes their value in confirming multiple shows in major cities like New York
