The Boogeyman Hulu release date for the streaming debut of 20th Century Studios' newest Stephen King adaptation has been revealed.
After over three months since its theatrical release, the horror thriller will finally be available for streaming on Thursday, October 5, as part of the month-long
event. During its theatrical run, The Boogeyman earned a worldwide gross of over $80 million at the box office.“High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain,” reads the synopsis.
The film adaptation is a production by 21 Laps. It is being produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Levin, and Dan Cohen. Beck and Woods, who have been attached to the project since 2018, are serving as executive producers. Stephen King’s The Boogeyman short story was first published in the 1973 issue of Cavalier magazine. It was later released in 1978 as part of King’s Night Shift collection.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
