The recorded conversation, where Charles famously joked about being reincarnated as a tampon, sparked a media frenzy and further intensified his already turbulent separation from Diana. While King Charles reportedly skips using a phone altogether, his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, is believed to have owned a Samsung with customised security measures by MI6 to prevent hacking.
