Focus Features has shared a new The Bikeriders poster for its star-studded drama, starring Tom Hardy, Austin Butler, and Jodie Comer.
“Kathy, a strong-willed member of the Vandals who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny, recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny,” reads the synopsis. “Over the years, Kathy tries her best to navigate her husband’s untamed nature and his allegiance to Johnny, with whom she feels she must compete for Benny’s attention.
Inspired by Danny Lyon’s 1967 photography book of the same name, The Bikeriders is written and directed by Jeff Nichols. The film stars Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Norman Reedus, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Toby Wallace, Karl Glusman, Mike Faist, Damon Herriman, Emory Cohen, Beau Knapp, and Happy Anderson. Executive producers are Fred Berger, Sam Hanson, David Kern, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer with Arnon Milchan, Kierke Panisnick, and Donald Sparks producing.
