Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks have signed on for leading roles in The Better Sister, the upcoming thriller series for Prime Video.
Biel and Banks will be playing estranged sisters Chloe and Nicky, respectively. In addition to leading the cast, they will serve as executive producers, with Burke tapped as a consultant.“The series explores the terrible things that drive sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together. Chloe moves through the world with her handsome lawyer husband Adam and teenage son Ethan by her side while her estranged sister Nicky struggles to stay clean and hustles to make ends meet.
Described as an “enticing thriller full of twists and turns,” The Better Sister is executive produced by showrunners Olivia Milch and Regina Corrado, with acclaimed filmmaker Craig Gillespie attached to direct. It is executive produced by Gillespie, Annie Marter, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Alissa Bachner and Michelle Purple. It is a production by Tomorrow Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, and Fortunate Jack Productions.
