Milan Fashion Week began with a mountain of 200,000 condoms on the Diesel runway. And it didn't just feel like a provocative indication of whatwould look like—with its signature cheeky denim remixed with sheer panels of skin-baring meshed lace—but also how sexy the street style would get this season. Things are certainly feeling spicer than usual.
Guests are wearing trench coats but leaving them opened up enough to expose lace separates underneath. They're wearing last season's silky, but letting them slide off their hip bones instead of wrapping them close to their torso. And they're wearing suits—lots of suits!—but in an extremely non-corporate way, like they're about to slink away to sip glass after glass of red wine at a pasta sauce stained table somewhere in Porta Venezia.
